"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you like sunshine flows into the trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
"The mountains are fountains not only of rivers and fertile soil, but of men." - John Muir
"It is all very beautiful and magical here - a quality which cannot be described. You have to live it and breath it, let the sun bake it into you" - Ansel Adams
"Mountains are earth's undecaying monuments." - Nathaniel Hawthorne
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings..." - Isaiah 52:7
"Often we need to be reminded of our blessings. With a fresh eye and renewed appreciation we need to see the great roll of our plains, the majesty of our mountains, the beauty of our valleys. All of it—every fruitful field, every stretch of grazing land, every spire, every forest, every far horizon—is a wonder. What places offer more? What places as much?" - A.B. Guthrie
