Bryson City offers the very unique tubing activity in Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Deep Creek. Deep Creek flows down from the heights of Clingman's Dome and offers a cool, invigorating and exciting ride on a tube.There are several Deep Creek tube rental companies that rent high quality tubes located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance on West Deep Creek Road in Bryson City. Some of the companies even have changing rooms and showers. Tubes with or without seats can be rented for about $5 a day. Tubers walk a mile up the Deep Creek trail to put in on the upper portion of Deep Creek and have a thrilling whitewater tube ride of their lives. The lower portion of Deep Creek is a gentle ride for small children.
Rent the tubes for an entire day and tube on Deep Creek as much as long as you and yoru family would like. There are fast moving areas of Deep Creek on the cascades, and slow lazy float areas where Deep Creek widens. Float by Toms Branch Falls or hang out at some swimming holes.
